Can I switch between the Standard and Pro plans?
You can absolutely switch between the Standard and Pro plans at any time.
Navigate to the device’s page you wish to switch and select the Settings tab.
Click the “Change price plan” button under the “Billing / Service plan” heading.
This will have an impact on your costs depending on the current billing interval and the change you have made:
- Hourly-billed devices switching between Standard and Pro will simply start to accrue costs at the rate of the new plan.
- To switch an hourly-billed device to monthly-billing, you must have a spare licence available within your current subscription. After switching, the hourly-billed device will simply stop accruing costs and will utilise a monthly device licence.
- To switch a monthly-billed device between Standard and Pro, you must have a spare licence available on your subscription at the desired service level. You can purchase (and remove) monthly licences in your Billing Centre.
- Changing a monthly-billed device to hourly billing will not issue a pro-rated refund or credit for the licence. It will simply become available for another device to use. The device will start to accrue hourly usage fees immediately.
You can increase or reduce your monthly device licences available at any time in your Billing Centre.
Increases will charge a pro-rated payment to cover the period until your subscription’s next renewal date.
Reductions will add a pro-rated credit to your account which will automatically be used toward future invoices.
In all cases, you will be advised of the relevant changes to your costs before confirming the change. The new plan will take effect immediately.
